I came from a world where being and looking hard, were means to building what was necessary to succeed. I soon found myself broken and rigid, in my body, as well as my mind, then I began to heal myself through movement. Free from judgement and expectation, I began to explore the avenues and back alleys that were not so main stream, not so well traveled. I was exposed to the grounding sensation of the earth beneath my feet and the value in how and where I placed my steps. I softened my perception of myself in order to see more clearly the areas in which I needed growth.I smeared my ego on the floor, grew out of its remnants and saw life flourish and develop from the inside out vs the outside in.
"I softened my perception of myself in order to see more clearly the areas in which I needed growth."
Movement became my means of faith and resilience. As complex as I found it to be,I realized that each one of us is our own complex system of what was and what can be. The present is all that is needed to bring light into the depths of who we are. I am grateful and ready to share my story with all that are willing to listen, in hopes of cracking the window to let the warm breeze of movement fill you as it has filled me.
